The goals of Our Gratitude Garden are to promote health and wellness through connection with the earth and the community. Gardening spaces promote peace, relaxation, personal reflection, and provide the opportunity to engage in physical exercise. 

Our Gratitude Garden is a open space primarily serving the employees and visitors of Southern Ohio Medical Center. Any employee or visitor is welcome to come on down and enjoy the gardening space.

Our Gratitude Garden is currently situated along the Blue Parking Garage at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. 

In the Spring (April) everyone is free to come and plant in the gardening beds. We ask that you reach out to Seth prior (email or via the Facebook page) to join a planting party. If you plant seeds, please mark the site so that we do not accidentally disturb your planting. 

In summer and fall visitors are welcome to weed and water the garden. Watering instructions are posted in the greenhouse. 

If you just want to relax, feel free to sit at the picnic table provided. 

Each year we produce more fruits and vegetables than we can consume. We ask that you please donate time in the garden (watering, weeding, planting, etc.) before harvesting. We encourage you to take what you need, but please reserve some for other community members.
