The goals of Our Gratitude Garden are to promote health and wellness through connection with the earth and the community. Gardening spaces promote peace, relaxation, personal reflection, and provide the opportunity to engage in physical exercise. 

Our Gratitude Garden is a open space primarily serving the employees and visitors of Southern Ohio Medical Center. Any employee or visitor is welcome to come on down and enjoy the gardening space. In one of the greenhouses you can find a whiteboard with a diagram of the gardening space. Next spring you can come claim a section of the garden to plant by writing your name over your desired planting space on the gardening diagram. Once you claim a gardening spot, we encourage you to come to your garden plot regularly to tend your harvest. The physical, mental and emotional benefits promoted by gardening activities are best achieved through regular participation. 

Our Gratitude Garden is currently situated along the Blue Parking Garage at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
